Let's come together in this social event where we can join our creative forces to create signs for the upcoming Women's March on January 20th in Bay City. The signs you create can be used at other rallies and protests, perhaps you want a sign for your yard, a sign to place in a window, or maybe you just want to help out and spend time with like-minded friends.
Join us as we participate in this Bay City event.
2025 was a year of marches that proved our collective strength. And the threats have grown so we must too. This moment calls for escalated commitment from all of us.
On January 20th, we will walk out of work, school, and commerce because a Free America begins the moment we stop cooperating with fascism.
We have people power. We are the majority. We will never stop fighting for the democracy we deserve.
Bring your signs and noisemakers. We will assemble on the sidewalks around the courthouse. If you are unable to stand/walk for long, feel free to bring your own chair.

The Matagorda County Democratic Party is working toward a brighter future for Matagorda County and all of Texas. We advocate for expanding opportunities to all in our county, regardless of race, gender, or religion.
