The Biennial Matagorda County Democratic Convention is open for pre-registration!

Eligibility: You must be a registered voter in the county and typically must have voted in the most recent Democratic primary.

Oath of Affiliation: If you did not vote in the primary or voted in another party's primary, you can still participate by signing an oath stating you did not participate in another party's convention and will affiliate with the Democratic Party.

Convention Purpose: These conventions allow attendees to select delegates to the county/senatorial district conventions and propose resolutions for the party platform.
Participants are encouraged to bring their ideas for the state party platform including all resolution ideas. Join your neighbors, pass resolutions, and become a delegate to the state convention.
