Texas does not have online voter registration.
If you moved here from another state — or if you're registering for the first time — this may surprise you. In most of the country, registering to vote is as easy as filling out a form online. Not in Texas.
As of 2026, 42 states + D.C. offer online voter registration. Texas is one of only 8 states that don’t.
In Texas, you must register by mail or in person.
